Privacy Policy
Summary: Maid Hisaab works offline. The developer does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information. Records you enter remain on your device unless you choose to export, back up, or share them.
1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Maid Hisaab (the “App”), published by Tejas software solution (“we”, “us”, or “our”), handles information. Tejas software solution built Maid Hisaab as a free app. This service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is. Maid Hisaab is an offline attendance, salary, payment, and advance tracker for domestic help.
2. Information stored by the App
The App lets you enter and store the following information locally on your device:
- a domestic helper’s name, optional phone number, joining date, and optional employment end date;
- attendance status, arrival time, member count, work or food details, and optional notes;
- salary and schedule rules, bonuses or extra-work amounts, salary calculations, and finalised salary records;
- payments, advances, allocation amounts, payment mode, references, and notes; and
- App preferences, including theme and reminder settings.
This information is used only on your device to provide the features you request, such as attendance history, salary calculations, reports, backups, and reminders.
3. Data collection and sharing
The App has no account system, advertising, analytics, tracking SDK, or developer-operated server. The App does not request Internet access and does not send the information described above to us. We do not sell personal information.
If you choose to save or share a CSV report, PDF salary summary, or JSON backup, Android’s system file picker or share sheet sends the file to the location or third-party app you select. That transfer is initiated and controlled by you. The receiving storage provider or app handles the file under its own privacy policy.
4. Permissions and device access
- Notifications: If you enable reminders, the App may request permission to display local attendance and salary-review notifications. You may deny or revoke this permission in Android Settings without losing the App’s other features.
- Run after restart: The App receives the device boot-completed signal so it can restore reminders you enabled. It does not use this capability to collect or transmit information.
- Files: The App uses Android’s system file picker for user-initiated exports, backups, and restores. It does not request broad access to your device storage.
The App does not request access to location, contacts, call logs, SMS, camera, microphone, advertising identifiers, or precise device identifiers.
5. Data retention and deletion
App records remain on your device until you edit or delete them, clear the App’s storage through Android Settings, or uninstall the App. Because we do not receive or store your records on a server, we cannot access or delete them remotely.
Exported reports and backups remain wherever you chose to save or share them. You must delete those copies from the relevant device, storage provider, or receiving app. Restoring a backup replaces the App’s current local records after validation and confirmation.
6. Data security
The App uses Android application storage, which is isolated from other ordinary apps by the Android operating system. Automatic Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for App data. User-created JSON backups are plain-text files and can include names, phone numbers, notes, and financial information; store and share them carefully.
No method of electronic storage is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your device, screen lock, exported files, and backup destination.
7. Children’s privacy
Maid Hisaab is a household administration tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since no information is sent to us, we cannot identify the age of App users.
8. Third-party services
The App does not include advertising or analytics services. Android and Google Play may independently process technical or purchase-related information as part of installing, updating, securing, or operating apps. Their handling of that information is governed by their own policies and is outside the App’s control.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s features or legal requirements change. The revised policy will show a new effective date. Material changes to the App’s data practices will also be reflected in the Google Play Data safety disclosure and, where appropriate, in the App.
